Something old, something new, something comforting.
Voodoocraft was more than just a Minecraft server, it was a digital home, run by Mikkebe (aka Mike). Though the pixels have long settled, many of us still stay in touch, proving that the connections built in virtual spaces can be just as real and lasting as those offline. This research project is a reflective dive into internet nostalgia, the role of online communities and how shared digital experiences can foster genuine friendship. Through Voodoocraft, I explored how design, memory, and technology come together to shape our social spaces and how sometimes, the screen between us isn’t a barrier, but a bridge.
