Only recently there has been more asian representation in the rap and hip-hop music industry, as previously asian representation in the media has been left to stereotypes and manufactured boybands like BTS. So, the 100 degrees magazine aims to expose a new young audience to Asian rap and hip-hop culture. Each issue focuses on a city in a different asian country, this issues focus was Jakarta in Indonesia, with the feature artist being Rich Brian.
